DAMAGE, REPAIRS & CLEANING

Our garments are carefully inspected and prepared between every rental. As rental garments are worn repeatedly, some minor signs of normal wear are expected.

We ask that you treat your rental with the same care and respect you would give your own clothing.

What happens if I damage my rental?

If a garment is returned with damage, staining, or other issues beyond normal rental wear, the renter may be responsible for the associated cleaning, repair, or replacement costs.

This may include:

  • Significant stains

  • Permanent marks

  • Large or obvious pulls

  • Tears or holes

  • Cigarette burns

  • Damage to zips, buttons, clasps, straps, or fastenings

  • Damage that prevents the garment from being rented again

Where additional cleaning or repairs are required, the associated costs will be charged to the renter.

Receipts or evidence of costs incurred may be provided where applicable.

What if the garment cannot be repaired?

If damage is severe enough that the garment is no longer suitable for future rentals, you may be required to cover the full retail replacement value of the garment.

Depreciation will not apply where the garment can no longer be rented due to the damage.

Rentalswithbp will assess the garment and determine whether it remains suitable for future rental.

Please don't attempt repairs yourself

You must not attempt to repair, alter, wash, dry clean, iron, or steam the garment without contacting us first.

Incorrect cleaning methods, heat, alterations, or repairs can permanently damage delicate fabrics and may result in additional charges.
